Our centre is well-equipped for blood transfusions. Blood transfusion can help treat animals that are seriously injured or are suffering from serious diseases. Low levels of certain blood components may occur when the patient has reduced blood production or when there is an acute severe blood loss. Blood transfusion can compensate for the deficiency, thus stabilising the animal's condition.
