Prophylaxis

We recommend regular external and internal prophylaxis for all dogs and cats to avoid infection and illnesses.

n general, your pet should be dewormed bi-weekly prior to 12 weeks old; monthly between the age of 12 to 24 weeks; and every 3 months after that. Whereas ectoparasites can be prevented by applying spot-on prevention monthly*.

Heartworm prevention should start as early as 8 weeks old with monthly* oral or spot-on medication. It could also be done by annual injection once your pet reaches 1 year old.

Regular vaccination is also recommended to minimise the risk of diseases. The following table summarises the use of different vaccines:
