Dr. Nicholas, Tan Shyue Wei

Dr Nicolas Tan was born in Malaysia and graduated from National Taiwan University in 1999. Dr Tan has been a medical director and co-founder of Heung Wo Animal Medical Centre since 2004. In 2017 he obtained his Membership of Australia and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) in Small Animal Surgery.

Dr Tan is a competent surgeon in small animal surgery and has a special interest in fracture repair, cruciate ligament disease, oncologic surgery, and endoscopic examination. Dr Tan has been performing complicated orthopedic surgeries such as, TPO, MMP, patella surgery and complicated bone fracture repair in his work routine.

Dr Tan was granted a certificate of total hip replacement and completed a course in endoscopy as part of his continuing education. Dr Tan enjoys helping better the lives of pets and their owners.
