Dr. Kimmy Tang has always loved animals since she was a little child, going out of her way to help those in need whenever she encountered them.  Her compassion, dedication and great care for her pets earned her the praise of two separate Veterinarians, who encouraged her to become a Veterinarian herself.  Dr. Kimmy then decided to step out of her comfort zone and leave Hong Kong in order to pursue her dream of becoming a Vet.

Dr. Kimmy graduated from the Veterinary Department of National Taiwan University.  Her passion for continuous learning and improving herself in order to provide the best treatment possible led her to want to become a well-rounded Veterinarian with knowledge in diverse disciplines.  Having witnessed the amazing results of Chinese medicine and acupuncture, both in animals and humans, Dr. Kimmy decided to complement her knowledge with studies in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Kimmy has completed all modules of Chi Institute’s TCVM program and obtained her Certificate as TCVM Practitioner in 2017.  Dr. Kimmy believes in the equal importance of both Western and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, whether in combination or by themselves, when devising the best treatment plan possible.

Dr. Kimmy’s hobbies include hiking to enjoy natural landscapes, traveling and watching movies.  Dr. Kimmy advocates the adoption of pets instead of purchasing
