Dr. Catherine, Wong Wae Ting

Dr. Wong graduated from the University of Sydney with first class Honors in 2012.  Following graduation, she came back to Hong Kong and has worked in a number of small animal private clinics before joining Heung Wo Animal Medical Centre in 2016.  In Heung Wo, Dr. Wong enjoys and has participated in a high varieties of surgical cases including more advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries such as pelvic fracture internal fixation and open chest surgeries.  In 2018, Dr. Wong achieved Membership to the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists Small Animal Surgery Chapter by examination.  In 2019, Dr. Wong was lucky enough to have a chance to learn flexible and rigid endoscopy under one of the foremost experts in veterinary endoscopy in the United States.  She continues to apply this valuable skills in Heung Wo through handling different endoscopic cases including ear endoscopic exam, gastrointestinal inspection and biopsies and gastric foreign body removal.

Fixing broken animals and sending them back home is the greatest passion for Dr. Wong as a vet.  In the near future, Dr. Wong planned to further her studies in feline medicine and continue to develop new strengths and techniques in surgery.

In free time, Dr. Wong loves to immerse herself into the nature and experience the other-also-wild part of the world.
